IBSIC #25 ~ Inspiration Challenge

Hello my friends,

Happy Tuesday!  I have a card to share today for this week's IBSIC #25.  We were asked to use the colors Blue, Yellow, Green and Cream.

My card:

The base of the card is very vanilla, with a layer of pretty paper from Basic Grey's Marjolaine paper pad.  Using MS doily, I distressed the edges with Antique Linen.  I really like the way it came out. The teacup is stamped with Marina Mist ink.  I then gently stamped the flowers with daffodil delight, and gently cut them out and adhered them to the teacup.  The sentiment is from the Inspired by Stamping store called Small Fancy Labels 3.  I decided to distress the edges of the tag also.  Lastly, I added a small green bow, lace and some bling.

Thanks for stopping by,

  1. This is soooo sweet! Love the trim with the bling! :)

  2. Martha, you'll find yourself addicted to Antique Linen distress ink in NO time! LOL I love what you did to the edges of the sweet. :) I'm glad to see you in the gallery at IBSIC!

  3. So beautiful Martha! I love this tea cup and the doily and lace! Hugs, Joanna

  4. The beautiful lace trim really ties all the wonderful elements together perfectly. I love the doily with the distressed edges and that patterned paper is perfect colors from the inspiration photo.

  5. Martha, I love this cup! Great stamping, so cute with the distressed doily.
And the background is just perfect.
