IBSIC #24 ~ Sketch Challenge

Hello my friends,

After seeing Joanna's beautiful card using the scallop circle die, it is now on my wish list!  But in the meantime, I pretended I was using the die for this week's IBSIC #24 sketch challenge.  :)

My card:

I followed the sketch, but used a square card.  The paper is from My Mind's Eye's Howdy Doody  paper pad - lots of soft colors!  The spellbinder die are from the Lacey and Classic Circle.  I dressed the card up with pretty ruffled ribbon, rhinestones and small yellow flowers from the IBS store.  I cut 2 squares and added the sentiment from the Small Fancy Labels 3 stamp set, also from the IBS store.  I hope you like it.

Thanks so much for stopping by,

  1. Martha, that sweet little skirt in yellow gingham reminds me of a beloved bedspread I had as a 'tween'. :) Thanks a bunch for playing with us at Inspired By Stamping!

Hope all is well....your girls are back in school?

  2. Hey Martha, We should meet soonnnnn ;)
Love your cards, love the colors - I just got the Pink Paislee Indigo Bleu - 6X6. Check it out, it's pretty much the same color combo that is in your card and actually perfect for this week IBSC.

  3. The pretty ruffled gingham ribbon is gorgeous! I love the addition of those pretty yellow roses!

  4. So beautiful Martha! I just featured you on the IBS FB page! Thank you for creating such a gorgeous card for this weeks IBSIC challenge! Hugs, Joanna
