Polka Dots Mother's Day Card

Hi everyone,

The theme challenges at The Challenge and Fantabulous Cricut (Celebrate Mom) were calling me with its simplicity.

My card:

I wasn't in the mood to stamp so I took out one of my favorite Cricut Cartridges, Love You a Latte, and created a Mother's Day card.  This is one of my favorite cartridges because it's filled with coffee themed images such as espresso machines, teacups and mugs.

Supplies:

Paper: Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Pretty in Pink  (SU!), Dots Stack (DCWV); Stamps: None, Sentiment Generated by Computer; Other: Cricut Expression, Love You a Latte Cricut Cartridge, Baja Breeze Seaming Binding Ribbon; Small Tag Punch (Martha Stewart)

Mother's Day Card

Happy Saturday!

Today, I'm playing along with this week's The Card Concept Challenge.  I was inspired by the beautiful bold colors.

I'd say my card fits in the category of classy and elegant:

I decided to use a color I have not used in a while -Rose Red, which I think goes well with grey.

Supplies:

Paper: Whisper White, Rose Red, Basic Grey, Stamps: Stippled Blossoms, Wonderful Mother; Ink: Rose Red, Smokey Slate, Early Espresso; Tools: Lacy Brocade EF; Other: Pretty Pink Posh sequins, small pearls

Colour Me...Masculine Card

Hi friends,

I had some free time this afternoon to put together a CAS card for this week's Colour Me Challenge.  Soft Sky is one of my favorite colors, so I was eager to get started.

My card:

After making several Mother's Day cards, I decided to take a break and create something totally different, so I went with a masculine card.  I took out my Suburbia Cricut Cartridge, and cut out a tall, sleek guy, and dressed him up with a Soft Sky dress shirt.

Card Recipe:

Stamps: SU! Best Dad Ever (retired)
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Soft Sky
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Stamp-a-ma-jig, Suburbia Cricut Cartridge
