Happy Sunday!
I took some time out of my Sunday afternoon to make a card. The Paper Players Challenge has an elegant color theme - White on White or Vanilla, plus a neutral or metallic sentiment:
Over at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown Challenge, we were asked to choose any past 2013 Challenge. I chose Theme #1: Christmas Flowers:
My card:
My card literally took about 15 minutes. I wish all of my cards were that quick to put together! The card base is Whisper White, with a second layer embossed with the Holly folder. This folder is one of my favorites for Christmas cards. I used more Whisper White to die-cut the beautiful poinsettia using the Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia. The sentiment is from Penny Black Christmas Cheer, and was stamped in Versafine Vintage Sepia. I thought it was the perfect sentiment for an all-white Christmas card. A simple rhinestone in the middle of the poinsettia finishes off the details.

Merry Monday #87
Hi Everyone,
Just popping in quickly to share a card I made for this week's Merry Monday Challenge. We were asked to create a card with a mitten(s).
My card:
For my card, I wanted to create a snowy scene, keeping it soft and on the clean side. I began with Whisper White card stock, and a second layer of the same. The branch was die-cut with the Memory Box Woodland Branch, and the tree trunk was hand drawn. I printed the mittens on X-Press It Blended Card and colored them with Copic markers. I thought it would be fun to hang the mittens from one of the branches, so with some black floss, I looped it over and adhered it to the mittens. Using Memento Summer Sky ink, I created snowy slopes. To complete the winter scene, I sprinkled some fuzzy flock on the branches and on the ground.
Here is a close-up:
The sentiment is from Inspired by Stamping Elegant Christmas Sentiments, and was stamped in Memento Tuxedo ink.
I am also adding my card to the following challenges:
Inspired by Stamping - December Customer Gallery Contest
CAS On Sunday - Christmas!
Simon Says... - Let it Snow
CAS-ual Fridays - Let it Snow

52CCT & Just Add Ink..Santa
Happy Hump Day!
Today I am sharing a card I made for this week's 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown - Pick a Previous! Challenge and Just Add Ink...Santa!.
My card:
My card today features a sketch Santa Claus from Flourishes called Santa I Believe. I started out with Whisper White, Basic Black and pretty patterned paper from SU! Festival of Prints DSP. I stamped the image in Crumb Cake ink, and adhered it on a piece of Black card stock. I really like how it made the image stand out. I then took some retired red ribbon from Stampin Up and wrapped it in both corners. The sentiment is from SU! Petite Pairs, and was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink. This was a fun card to create!
I'm also linking up to Stampin' for the Weekend Challenge - Use Some Red.

Hi Everyone,
I decided to take a break from making Christmas cards and create something different. I found the layout for my card over at Create with Connie and Mary Challenge. Love the layers on this sketch, so I'll be using this one again. I'm also incorporating the Evergreen Theme from The Paper Players Challenge.
My card:
For my card, I chose one of my favorite stamp sets, Lovely as a Tree. I began with Whisper White, followed with layers of Chocolate Chip and Baja Breeze card stock. The patterned papers are from a retired DSP from SU! called Parisian Breeze - another favorite. I took a piece of Whisper White and lightly sponged the background with Baja Breeze on top and Chocolate Chip on the bottom. I then stamped the trees with more Chocolate Chip ink. I wanted to create a winter-like effect. The sentiment is from SU! Wetlands, and was stamped with Early Espresso ink.
I am also linking up to Seize the Birthday.

Happy Sunday,
It's the first day of December! ... can't believe this year is almost over. I have a card to share for this week's Dynamic Duos. This week, it's Midnight Muse and Your Choice of "Other" Color. My other color is Gold.
My card:
I started out with Whisper White, followed with Midnight Muse and Gold card stock. I've seen this style of card on Pinterest, but unfortunately, I don't know who the original creator is. I used some patterned paper from my stash to create the Christmas bags, hemp twine for the handle and some gold tissue for the inside of the bags. The sentiment is from Recollections, and was stamped in Memento Nautical Blue. I added a few gold rhinestones to give it some sparkle. A very quick and easy card!
I'm also entering this card for the following challenges:
Less is More Challenge - It's all about "sparkle"
Stampin for the Weekend - theme is "feeling festive"

Just Add Ink Challenge #193
Happy Friday!
I have a card to share with you for this week's Just Add Ink Inspiration Challenge. It's all about "STARS"..
This is what I came up with:
Today, I have a CAS card using the MS Star Punch. The card base is Whister White, and the layers are Gumball Green and Silver (since I had these out from yesterday's card, I decided to use them again!). I created a Christmas tree using SU! Print Poetry DSP and more silver card stock. I pulled out some brown paper from my stash and created the tree trunk. The sentiment is from SU! Petite Pairs, and was stamped in Memento Bamboo Leaves.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
I wanted to quickly post this card I created last night. It combines the colors from Color Throwdown Combo with the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches Challenge:
My card:
I began with Whisper White card base, and the layers are Gumball Green and SU! Print Poetry DSP. I took a piece of silver card stock, embossed it with the Lacy Brocade folder and adhered it to the left side of the panel. The image is from PTI In the Meadow Silhouettes Die Collection, and was die-cut in silver. I matted the image with more Gumball Green, and arranged it on Crumb Cake card stock. I then stamped three tiny snowflakes, to give it a winter feeling. I used some silver cording and wrapped it around my card two times and added a pretty silver snowflake on the corner. The sentiment is from SU! Teeny Tiny Wishes and was stamped with versamark ink and then embossed with Gumball Green embossing powder.

Merry Monday #85
Happy Tuesday,
I'm popping in very quickly to share a card for this week's Merry Monday #85. We were asked to create a card using all white or ivory, and brown or kraft for the sentiment and accents.
My card:
I created a CAS card, which is always one of my favorite styles. The card base is Very Vanilla, followed with another layer of the same card stock and embossed with the Holly embossing folder.
I created a poinsettia with the Layered Poinsettia Spellbinders, and simply added 4 tiny rhinestones in the middle. The sentiment is from Fiskars' Holiday Frolic, and was stamped in VersaFine Vintage Sepia.
I'm also linking at CAS on Sunday and Rudolph Days Challenge.

Merry Monday #84
Hi Everyone!
I am on a roll with Christmas cards! WOO HOO! I couldn't resist not playing this week over at Merry Monday. We were asked to use a tree and bling. Love the combo.
My card:
The base of the card is Real Red and then a layer of Whisper White. I used Penny Black Snow Dust stamp for the focal point of my card, and stamped it with a new ink I purchased from VersaFine called Vintage Sepia. In person, it's a very pretty gold color. I double matted the image using more Real Red and Gold card stock. It looked a bit plain, so I wrapped some gold ribbon around the top and bottom edges. The sentiment is from Inspired by Stamping Elegant Christmas Sentiments, and was stamped in Vintage Sepia ink. The final details are some red and silver rhinestones, added on the trees.

Happy Sunday!
It's another week over at Dynamic Duos. We were asked to use Black & Smoky Slate ( Silver) with the dessert option of Christmas. I decided to incorporate the dessert option for my card.
My card:
My card is clean and simple, with no frills. I began with Whisper White card base, followed by Basic Black and more Whisper White. I used DCWV The Twinkle Glints Printed Cardstock for the 3 Christmas ornaments, and punched them out with SU! Ornament (retired). Unfortunately, the shiny ornaments' effect did not show on the picture. Using a thin marker, I added some lines to simulate that they are hanging. The sentiment is from the Beautiful Season Stamp Set, and was stamped in Basic Black ink.

My card:
My card is bright and fun, just right for a kiddo! I used the SU! Post Card for my card (again!). I can't seem to put it away...I just love this stamp because it's so versatile. The card base is Whisper White and the next layer is Cherry Cobbler, embossing with the Square Lattice embossing folder. The Post Card was matted with Chocolate Chip card stock. I used the owl punch from SU! and dressed him up with some striped patterned paper, a Santa hat and a tiny red heart. The die-cut branch was created with the Memory Box Woodland Branch. The sentiment is from Inkadinkado Warm Holiday Wishes, and was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink, as well as the North Pole stamp.

Happy Sunday!
I've missed a couple of my favorite card challenges the past 2 weeks, but lucky for me, I made some time this morning to create a card for this week's Dynamic Duos. We were asked to use Crumb Cake and Always Artichoke. I do not have Always Artichoke, but substituted with Memento Cottage Ivy.
My card:
For my card, I used the SU! Post Card, SU! Contempto Christmas (christmas tree), SU! Snow Swirled (sentiment) and Fiskars' Christmas (postage). The card base is Crumb Cake, then Always Artichoke card stock. I stamped the Post Card onto some Very Vanilla and stamped in Crumb Cake ink, as well as the base of the Christmas tree. The sentiment, Christmas tree and postage were all stamped in Cottage Ivy ink. A double bow using some Crumb Cake seam binding gives the card a festive look. A small rhinestone on top of the tree and on the corners finish off the details.

Merry Monday #82 & TPE224
Hi Everyone,
Happy Tuesday! Today's card was created for this week's The Pink Elephant card challenge.
The colors I chose are this week's Merry Monday color combo.
My card:
I began with Whisper White card base, followed by Real Red and patterned paper from MME. The sweet snowman is from the SU! Snow Much Fun set, and I colored him with Copic markers. I matted both the image and patterned paper panel with Aqua card stock. I then stamped the sentiment on a scrap of Whisper White card stock and adhered it to the cardfront overlapping the image panel and the patterned paper. Two mini pom-poms and four red pearls finished off the card.

The Kraft Journal Challege #143
Hello Everyone,
Today's card was created for this week's The Kraft Journal Challenge #143. I love Fall colors!
My card:
I began with a Kraft card base, Very Vanilla card stock and patterned paper from six by six All Spice paper pack from My Mind's Eye. I decided to try the ever popular Starburst Technique, and loved the result! I used the owl punch from SU! and spiffed him up using the same paper pack. The owl is dressed as a turkey and the background assimilates the feathers. The branch is a Memory Box die, cut out of brown card stock. Lastly, the sentiment is from SU! Teeny Tiny Wishes, and was stamped in Chocolate Chip ink.
I'm also linking at Word Art Wednesday and HYCCT1315A "Bursting with Hope" Challenge .

Exploring Cricut - Halloween Theme
Happy Monday!
It's another week at Exploring Cricut. We were asked to create a project with a Halloween theme, along with 2 Cricut cuts.
My card:
I started off with Basic Black, followed with a layer of Whisper White card stock. I then added a layer of patterned paper from my Halloween scrap pile. I matted both the image and the orange patterned paper with black card stock. I decided to use Happy Hauntings Cartridge - one of my favorite cartridges. I cut the mouse at 2.5 inches and the little pumpkin at 3 inches. Using the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge, I cut the word "BOO" at 1 inch. I then cut the black scallop border at 1 inch using the Elegant Edges cartridge, adhered it under the sentiment and embellished it with orange rhinestones. For the final touch, I wrapped some black floss beneath the image for some depth.
I'm also linking up at Aud Sentiments Challenge 91 - Funny Halloween and The Pink Elephant Challenge - Trick or Treat Theme.
