The Paper Players #804

Hello, friends!  I had some free time last night to create a clean and simple card for this week's The Paper Players challenge.  All you need to do is add a bear!  I don't have any bear stamps, so I cut one out using my Cricut Maker.  Since I'm making a bunch of hello cards, I decided to use my Maker to cut out the letters, too.  To add a little pop of color to the card, I added a bow to the bear.

Freshly Made Sketches #754 & Color Hues #141

Hello, friends! I'm here to share a card for this week's Freshly Made Sketches and Color Hues challenges.  After contemplating a few different designs, I eventually went with some scallop trims that I cut with my Cricut Maker.  I also added a layer of lace using the lace die from Altenew.

Color Hues #140

Hello, friends! I’m back with another card for this week’s Color Hues Challenge.  I had the window die on my desk from using it last week, so I decided to use it again, along with the branch and bird die that I remembered having in my stash.  I thought it was the perfect addition to the window.  I also remembered having some old Stampin' Up! designer paper from many years ago that matches the colors, so I decided to incorporate that as well.  I love giving some of those older supplies in my stash a little love!

Color Hues #139

Hello, friends!  Stopping very quickly to share a card I created for this week’s  Color Hues Challenge.    The pretty color combo made it super easy to decide what to create.  I added lots of neutrals to bring the hot air balloons to life.

Freshly Made Sketches #749

Hello, friends!  I had some time last night to create a card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches .  I dusted off an old set of flower dies from My Favorite Things called Stitched Blooms and went with the dies that look like daisies.  I know daisies aren’t usually blue but the color matched perfectly with the blue gingham washi tape.

The Paper Players #798

Hello, friends!  I’m back to share a fun card for this week’s The Paper Players Challenge.  Stef gave us a new color challenge, and I immediately knew what I wanted to create - a doggie card!  I’ve had this idea in my head of creating a card with a doggie holding a balloon, and these colors were perfect for it.  I used some teal twine to mimic the doggie holding the balloon.  I love how this little pup turned out!

Hello Card!

Hello, friends! Today I'm sharing a hello card for this week's The Paper Players Challenge.  I went down the left hand column (flowers, die cut and lavender).  Also sharing at Inspired By Challenge. I was inspired by the gingham patterns.  

For my card, I used vellum for the leaves, and to my surprise, I like it!  It looks much better in person though.  I've been making a bunch of hello cards for the Creative Kindness Foundation through scrapbook.com., and this one will also be going in the mail this week.
