The Kraft Journal... Paris or France

Happy Hump Day!

I have a card to share today for this week's The Kraft Journal Challenge.  The challenge is called Paris or France.  Oh, how I would love to take a vacation there!

I've used a mixture of pretty patterned paper from Graphic 45 and Bazzill, and combined them with a Crumb Cake card base.  I used the French Manor Cricut Cartridge to cut out the Eiffel Tower at 5.5".  The die-cut scallop was created with the Scallop Die-Namics - I thought this would be a nice accent to the card.  The final details are a few pearls and a Crumb Cake seam binding ribbon tied into a bow.

Merry Monday #79

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

We are half way done with October...hard to believe!  Last night, I was able to create a card for this week's Merry Monday Challenge.  We were asked to use Snowflakes, Blue, White and Silver/Grey.

My card:

I started out with Whisper White card stock, combined with pretty paper from Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet Collection.  Aside from being one of the colors for this challenge, it also has snowflakes (too hard to see from the picture).  I took some blue card stock and added some texture with the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder.  I die-cut a layer of silver glitter card stock with the SU! Snow Flurry Die.  A blue rhinestone was adhered in the middle to give it more shine.  The sentiment is from Just Rite Noel Christmas Ornaments Stamp Set and was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Thanks for taking a peek,

Merry Monday #69

Hello Everyone,

I'm popping in very quickly to share a card for this week's Merry Monday.  Leslie has given us a fabulous sketch:

My card:

My card begins with Very Vanilla card base, and added layers of Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet patterned paper and green cardstock.  The green cardstock was embossed with the Lacy Brocade embossing folder.  The circles were die-cut with the spellbinders standard circles.  The tiny Christmas ornaments are from Inspired by Stamping Holiday Ornaments and the sentiment is also from Inspired by Stamping Elegant Christmas Sentiments.  Both were stamped with Real Red ink.  Lastly, I wrapped red baker's twine right above the sentiment.

I'm also adding my card over at Inspired by Stamping customer gallery and Link Up Tuesday.

Dynamic Duos #33

Hello my friends,

First off, I would like to thank Erna for choosing my card as one of the Dynamic Darlings from last week's challenge.  You can see my card HERE.

This week. it's all about Gold and Black with the Option of Music:

My card:

The card base is Very Vanilla, followed by pretty paper from Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium Collection.  SU! Stocking Builder Punch (retired) is by far my favorite punch!  The Music Paper is also from Graphic 45.  I added a strip of Gold ribbon across the back of the stockings.  3 Gold bows atop each stocking was the finishing touch.

This is the final challenge for 2012.  I would like to wish everyone over at Dynamic Duos Happy Holidays!

Thank you so much for stopping by,
