Hello Everyone,
Today's card was created for this week's The Kraft Journal Challenge #143. I love Fall colors!
My card:
I began with a Kraft card base, Very Vanilla card stock and patterned paper from six by six All Spice paper pack from My Mind's Eye. I decided to try the ever popular Starburst Technique, and loved the result! I used the owl punch from SU! and spiffed him up using the same paper pack. The owl is dressed as a turkey and the background assimilates the feathers. The branch is a Memory Box die, cut out of brown card stock. Lastly, the sentiment is from SU! Teeny Tiny Wishes, and was stamped in Chocolate Chip ink.

Exploring Cricut - Halloween Theme
Happy Monday!
It's another week at Exploring Cricut. We were asked to create a project with a Halloween theme, along with 2 Cricut cuts.
My card:
I started off with Basic Black, followed with a layer of Whisper White card stock. I then added a layer of patterned paper from my Halloween scrap pile. I matted both the image and the orange patterned paper with black card stock. I decided to use Happy Hauntings Cartridge - one of my favorite cartridges. I cut the mouse at 2.5 inches and the little pumpkin at 3 inches. Using the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge, I cut the word "BOO" at 1 inch. I then cut the black scallop border at 1 inch using the Elegant Edges cartridge, adhered it under the sentiment and embellished it with orange rhinestones. For the final touch, I wrapped some black floss beneath the image for some depth.
I'm also linking up at Aud Sentiments Challenge 91 - Funny Halloween and The Pink Elephant Challenge - Trick or Treat Theme.

Merry Monday #79
Happy Tuesday Everyone!
We are half way done with October...hard to believe! Last night, I was able to create a card for this week's Merry Monday Challenge. We were asked to use Snowflakes, Blue, White and Silver/Grey.
My card:
I started out with Whisper White card stock, combined with pretty paper from Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet Collection. Aside from being one of the colors for this challenge, it also has snowflakes (too hard to see from the picture). I took some blue card stock and added some texture with the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder. I die-cut a layer of silver glitter card stock with the SU! Snow Flurry Die. A blue rhinestone was adhered in the middle to give it more shine. The sentiment is from Just Rite Noel Christmas Ornaments Stamp Set and was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Happy Birthday Exploring Cricut Challenge
Happy Wednesday Everyone,
Today I have a card to share with you for this week's Exploring Cricut. This month, they are celebrating their 3rd Birthday! We were asked to create a birthday paper craft with 1 button, brad or jewel.
My card:
For my card, I chose the Paper Pups Cricut Cartridge. It's been a long time I don't use this cute cartridge. I began with Kraft cardstock, followed by pretty papers from the All Spice Collection My Mind's Eye. The border on the right hand side was cut using MFT Die-namic Simply Scallop. The doggy was cut at 1 1/4", and the party hat at 1". The scallop circles are from the Elegant Edges cartridge, and they were cut at 3". The sentiment is from SU! Itty Bitty Banners Stamp Set, stamped with Basic Black ink and cropped with Bitty Banners Framelits Die. For the final touch, I adhered 4 jewels on the right hand side where the scallops join together.

Happy Monday!
Just popping in quickly to share a card I made for this week's Dynamic Duos. We were asked to use Cajun Craze and Island Indigo. At first, I was a bit hesitant with the color combo, but after pulling out the only DSP that had one of this week's color, I got an idea!
My card:
I started out with Whisper White, followed with Island Indigo card stock. The top layer is from Fan Fair DSP. I then took a piece of Cajun Craze, added some texture with the Square Lattice Folder and affixed it on the bottom of the card. I found a vintage button card in my stash and adhered 3 buttons to it. On the black button, I tied a bow using Island Indigo Baker's Twine. I used A Child's Year Cricut Cartridge for the scissors, and added a piece of card stock between the scissor blades. I also added a tiny rhinestone in the middle. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Banners Stamp Set, stamped with Island Indigo ink and cropped with Bitty Banners Framelits Die.
I'm also submitting this card into Seize the Birthday Anything Goes Challenge.
Have a great week!

Merry Monday #77
Hi Everyone!
I found some time today to put together a card for this week's Merry Monday Challenge. We were asked to use Red, Pink, Light Green, Dark Green and White.
My card:
I made a clean and simple card (especially when you are putting it together during your lunch hour!). Using the colors above, I used the 1 inch, 3/4 inch, 1/2 inch circle punches to create a festive Christmas wreath. My card base is Whisper White, with another layer of white cardstock. I adhered the circles to form a wreath, and added a bow using some Real Red ribbon. I stamped the sentiment from SU! Four the Holidays in Basic Black ink. For the final touch, I randomly added rhinestones around it.
In addition to this card challenge, I am linking to Link Up Tuesday.
Thanks for visiting me today!
