Happy Thursday! I created a card for this week's Freshly Made Sketches #51.
Here's my card:
The base of the card is SU very vanilla card stock, and the layers are from SU retired Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Stack, except for the hot pink and brown paper - those are from my stash. The scallop strip was already pre-cut from a package purchased from my local craft store - that is why the border has different scallop sizes. The birdcage is stamped on SU Melon Mambo ink and the bird on SU pacific point ink. I gently cut him out and popped him up with some dimensionals. Lastly, I added a yellow bow and 3 big pearls to the birdcage.
Thanks so much for stopping by,
Very sweet card Martha! Love that birdcage and the pearls! The ribbon is a great addition! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
ReplyDeleteOh so pretty, Martha! I love the pearls suspending the birdcage! The addition of hot pink really makes this card "pop"! Thanks for playing at Freshly Made Sketches!

I love the wonky scallop border just on one side and the birdcage is fantastic focal point! Lovely colors too!
ReplyDeleteI love how the birdcage is 'hung' with a bow and some pearls!
