Good morning, Happy Monday! I'm back with another fun card for this week's Color Hues challenge! I knew right away that I wanted to make a kid's card, and the first thing that came to mind was a lion. So, that's the route I took!
For the polka dot background, I used a very old designer paper from Stampin' Up! called Patterns Pack. For the lion's hair, I used a digital paper from my files. I thought it matched perfectly with the Burnt Red color as shown above.
Supplies:
Paper: Polka Dot Paper (Stampin' Up!); Lion's Hair (Digital Paper)
Stamp: Itty Bitty Birthday (MFT)
Ink: Black Licorice (MFT)
Accessories: Lion cut with the Cricut Maker
Thanks for taking a peek,

I never would have thought of a lion with these colors, but you're so clever Martha, and they work fabulously! And such a cute guy he is, too. I like the cohesion of both papers with dots. Super cute card! Thanks so much for joining us at Color Hues!
ReplyDeleteThis lion image is so sweet!!! It makes for such a fun birthday card and like Stef, I wouldn't have even dreamt this up but its so perfect. Thanks so much for playing with us at Color Hues!
