Today's card was created for this week's Dynamic Duos Challenge. We were asked to use Real Red and Island Indigo.
The layout for my card is an old sketch from Verve:
My card:
I kept my card simple and on the clean side, keeping the colors as the main focus. The card base is Whisper White, followed with another layer of the White. The patterned paper is from SU! Festival of Prints. The vase was die-cut from PTI-Mega Gracious Vases. The flowers are from SU! Stippled Blossoms. I stamped the sentiment from SU! Petite Pairs in Basic Black ink, and die-cut it with the Circle Spellbinders. I then simply tied a small bow using some Island Indigo Baker's Twine. The final details are two pearls on the top left hand side of the card.
I'm also linking up to Seize the Birthday - "Anything Goes" Birthday & Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes.
Thanks for visiting me today,
The colors certainly take centre stage. A gorgeous card. I enjoyed seeing your lovely art today and thank you for sharing it with us.

ReplyDeleteThis is so cute...Very simple yet so effective. I love it! Both of these cards are gorgeous...Love the embellishments and the lovely sentiment. So delighted you shared your artwork with us at Word Art Wednesday. Want to leave you with a verse coming from 1 John 5:4 which says, "For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith." Have a blessed week!
